Greetings from the Principal.
The School extends a warm welcome to all students and parents. We thank you for entrusting your child's education to the committed staff at Northcliffe DHS. Although a small school we have an excellent reputation and take pride in the achievemements of both our past and present students. Northcliffe Distict High School's aim is to establish a close working relationship between teachers, students, parents and the school community. This website is one strategy we will use to assist in developing that sense of partnership.

At Northcliffe the school occupies a special place in the community. The majority of parents entrust their children's education to us. As a result we make the following fundamental commitments:

We strive to ensure that every student who attends the school achieves the highest standard of learning which they are capable of.

2.    We are committed to high quality teaching.
Every Teacher is expected to monitor students' progress, to identify their strengths, and to provide an educational programme appropriate to their needs.

3.   We are committed to parents receiving information about the standards being achieved by the school.
The purpose is to maintain confidence that appropriate standards are being achieved by the students and that the school is working to maintain those standards.

Students will be supported to develop:
effctive literacy skills
effective numeracy skills
a capacity to utillise technology
an ability to find and use information
the confidence to make decisions and accept responsibility for them
self respect and respect for the rights of others
social and civic responsibility
